The Gatorland Entrance
You can see alligators, crocodiles, snakes and birds up close when you visit Gatorland, the Alligator Capital of the World. Kids will be enthralled when they walk through the giant gator mouth to enter this 110-acre theme park and wildlife preserve.
At Gatorland, you will enjoy real-life shows featuring some of the largest, fiercest and most deadliest animals around, as well as those animals of the cute and cuddly variety. In the fashion of Animal Planet and Crocodile Hunter, you'll visit Alligator Island, home of an alligator over 15 feet long and weighing over 1,000 pounds. Enjoy a home of pink flamingos in Flamingo Lagoon, or many other feathery varieties in the Very Merry Aviary. Little ones will enjoy the Lilly's Pad play area and the petting zoo at Allie's Barnyard. You can also enjoy such sights as Snakes of Florida, Breeding March, Jungle Crocs, Gatorland Express Railroad, Gatorland Swamp Walk, as well as shows featuring gator wrestling, gators jumping several feet out of the water and more.
