Known as "Nature's Theme Park," the Silver Springs Theme Park presents a fun and educational look at the nature and history of the Silver River area.
Also known as "Nature's Theme Park," Silver Springs features an educational glimpse of the nature and history of the Silver River. Here, you will enjoy a ride on a Glass Bottom Boat, where you will get a glimpse of the aquatic life below. Or take a riverboat ride on the Fort King River Cruise, where you will pass an archaeological dig, a Seminole Village, and the historic area of Fort King. You can also enjoy a safari, exhibits and live shows featuring bears, panthers, birds, gators, and many more animals.
The little ones will enjoy a visit to the petting zoo where they can get up and close and personal with the docile animals. In the Botanical Garden, you will see the beauty of over 138 varieties of both local and exotic plants along the beautiful Silver River. You can enjoy some new attractions to the park, including the 80-foot tall Lighthouse Ride and the Fantastic Fountains Water Show. In addition to the fabulous natural attractions, the park hosts numerous live concerts throughout the year by big names such as the Beach Boys, Clint Black, and the Guy Lombardo Orchestra.

- Comfortable walking shoes and casual clothing is recommended.
- There is a gift shop on-site.
- The park is handicap accessible; boat rides have lifts for anyone who needs assistance in boarding, but wheelchairs cannot be loaded onto the glass bottom boats. Both motorized and manual push wheelchair rentals are also available.
- Cameras are permitted.
- There are several restaurants on-site.
- Parking is available in various lots surrounding the park.

Well me and my friend Jessica used to go there all the time and when she passed away i go there to just get a way from the day and that when i feel like i am with her because it is so beautful there you'll never want to leave. And when you need to get away or just go for fun this is the place to go.

My husband went for our 43rd weeding anniversary. We had a woderful time. No lines , the food is very reasonable. We were so surprised at how clean it is and how nice the people who operate all the entertainment treated us.
We are getting a season pass since we live in Bradenton, Fl. a few hours away. Better than Bush Gardens or Lowery Park zoo. We were there on October 4th 2006.
