In the heart of Lake Buena Vista, Florida each year, Disney welcomes spring in a big way with the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival at the Epcot Center. This festival brings you up close with thousands of beautiful flowers masterfully crafted into works of blooming art, as well as live music, educational events, and more. The Epcot Center really knows how to bring spring into bloom with this fabulous event!
An Exciting Experience Awaits you at Festival
If you have ever stopped to admire the beauty and fragrance of a single flower, you will delight in the one-of-a-kind experience waiting for you at this event. Adults and kids alike will cherish the memory of this intricate work with Mother Nature, as hundreds and thousands of flowers are intricately woven together to create a ten-foot tall Minnie Mouse, a larger-than-life Goofy, and plenty of other Disney-theme works of floral art. Your family can take a stroll through Minnie's Magnificent Butterfly Garden, a brilliant explosion of spring colors in full bloom and home to hundreds of fluttering butterflies.
Special Guests and Options at the Festival
If you visit Epcot Center during the weekends of this spring festival, you can enjoy other experiences as well. Each Saturday and Sunday of this event, take some time to enjoy educational sessions featuring the insight of top horticulturists as they relay gardening tips and other valuable insight into the plants and flowers at the Garden Town Programs. On Friday, Saturday, and Sundays throughout the festival, you can head to the America Gardens Theatre for live evening performances, featuring hits from the 1960s and 1970s in true "flower power" fashion. You can also take some time to shop for gardening tools to help you create your own floral masterpiece back home.
