Discovery Cove, a sister park to SeaWorld and Busch Gardens, in Orlando, FL is park that gives guest the opportunity to swim with dolphins, rays, and tropical fish, and also enjoy swimming and snorkeling in their freshwater river and lagoon.

There are six main attractions at Discovery Cove and guests can pick the perfect activities to complete their one of a kind experience.

Dolphin Swim

Enjoy the wonder and splendor of interacting with bottlenose dolphins at the dolphin swim attraction. Start out in an orientation where you'll view a video to learn more about dolphin behavior and mannerisms, learn how to communicate through hand signals and positive reinforcements with these intelligent mammals. Then a group of 6-8 visitors at a time head to the shallow lagoon where each person bonds and connects with a dolphin through hugging, kissing, petting, and playing. Finally each person gets to head into the open lagoon for a one-on-one swim with their dolphin.

Coral Reef

Take a swim through the colorful coral reef and swim with the giant rays and tropical fish. The rays are gentle animals and velvety to the touch. View the breathtaking sharks and barracudas swimming safely behind a security wall.

Freshwater Tropical River

Relax and float along in the crystal clear freshwater tropical river. Stop off at the island beach and chill out on the sand for a while. Take a break at the aviary and view over 250 tropical birds, or relax at the waterfalls. End your river journey at the ray lagoon, swim and play with the lovable rays.
Aviary
With 30 species and 250 individual birds, the aviary is a great place to catch a glimpse of tropical birds, and explore a simulated natural habitat for these colorful creatures.

Resort Pool

The resort pool is also available and it's great for practicing your snorkeling or getting a message from the pounding waterfalls. The pool is always a comfortable 80 degrees so you'll temperature will always be just right.
