One of the most well-known American Rock and Roll bands is The Beach Boys. Their lyrics reflect mostly the Californian lifestyle of Sun, surfing, cars and girls. The Beach Boys played at
Silver Springs, Ocala earlier this year. They have performed at this park several times earlier. While the group members have had some issues, they were resolved and they were scheduled to play as a band, much to the joy of the band's many fans. The group known for hits such as "Good Vibrations", "God Only Knows", "California Girls" and "Surfin' USA" say that their major influences include Chuck Berry, Everly Brothers and Four Freshmen. There were all kinds of people at the concert. For the slightly older crowd, it was going back in time and for the younger lot, it was listening to a different type of music. The crowd had a great time if the number of people at the event is anything to go by. The Beach Boys mingled with the crowds and gave out guitars and towels as memorabilia. They even posed for pictures with some of the more enthusiastic fans. Several people even went backstage for autographs. Many people at the event thought that even though the music wasn't the same as that produced by original line-up, it wasn't bad and all. Such concerts make
Silver Springs a great holiday destination. Not only are there activities for people of all ages but such musical galas and other events make it a lot more fun. Entertainment unlimited and in many forms is what you get at
Silver Springs, Ocala.
