When the time came around this year for the Bud & BBQ Fest at SeaWorld in Orlando, FL, it was no surprise to find Orlando hotels flooded with guests from around the country. Taking place in late February and early March, the event was sponsored by the park in conjunction with Anheuser-Busch, who provided a variety of ice-cold beverages to guests of the park (at least, those who were of age). Incredible chefs provided a plethora of food options of which visitors could partake, with attendance at the festival included with the regular admission ticket to the park. Barbecue salmon, Texas-style beef ribs, spare ribs, and much more graced the walkways of the park as families and other guests wandered between shows and rides, visiting Shamu and all his friends in the meantime. Most attendees made sure they had at least a few bites of the Budweiser BBQ chicken and the Bud Light chili pepper baby back ribs. The all-you-want-to-eat buffet was open daily from noon to 3pm, with sampling booths also open for snacking throughout the day.
Hotels in Orlando filled up fast, with their convenient proximity to SeaWorld, and guests were not disappointed in the food or the special entertainment series, with live musical entertainment several nights. Special musical guests included Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Joe Nichols, Jason Michael Carroll, Craig Morgan, and Pat Greene. Between the fantastic Florida sun, the prime entertainment, and the savory food options prepared by SeaWorld's specialty chefs, it's no wonder that tourists flock to the Bud & BBQ Fest at SeaWorld.
